Safeguarding God's Children

For His Hope Ministries' Staff & Volunteers

August 21, 2019 6:00 - 9:00pm

Christ Episcopal Church Parish Hall 107 Gay Street, Denton, MD 21629

All of the programs and services affiliated with His Hope Ministries are committed to the safety and well-being of or children. We believe it is our responsibility to protect the children we serve from abuse and neglect. Safeguarding God's Children is a training developed and provided by the Episcopal Diocese of Easton for all of their children's ministry staff and lay persons. We have found Safeguarding God's Children training to be an excellent opportunity for His Hope Ministries staff and volunteers and have embedded much of the information into our own Child Abuse and Neglect policy and procedures.

Safeguarding God's Children is open to anyone in the community. We ask anyone who is interested in volunteering with us to attend, but welcome participation by anyone involved in ministry to children in our community, or anyone interested in learning more about the topic.

There is NO CHARGE for this training, however you must register. Please call 443-448-7297 or email lynn.keckler@hishopeministries.org to register or to find out more.
