About His Hope Ministries Shelter
His Hope Ministries Shelter, located in Denton, Maryland, provides a safe and welcoming environment for individuals and families experiencing homelessness from September through April. Our facility includes five private family rooms, six beds designated for single women, and six beds for single men, allowing us to serve a diverse range of guests with dignity and care.
The shelter operates daily from 4:30 PM to 8:30 AM, offering a secure and supportive space where guests can rest and regain stability. During their stay, guests are provided with nutritious meals, essential hygiene items, and clothing as needed, ensuring their basic needs are met with compassion and respect.
Beyond overnight shelter, His Hope Ministries is committed to helping guests take meaningful steps toward self-sufficiency. We provide transportation within the Denton area, enabling access to our Resource Center during daytime hours. There, guests can utilize computers and internet services, connect with employment and housing resources, and participate in skills training programs designed to promote long-term stability.

Our case management services offer personalized support to guests facing a housing crisis. Our dedicated case managers provide resources, referrals, and emotional support to empower individuals and families towards long-term housing stability. They work closely with guests, addressing their unique needs and connecting them to the necessary resources and services.

His Hope Ministries connects our shelter guests with local landlords and low-income housing complexes, and local agencies and organization to provide housing opportunities for guests and those in the community seeking housing.
Rapid Rehousing (RRH)
Rapid Re-Housing is a solution to homelessness designed to help individuals and families to quickly exit homelessness and retun to permanent housing by assisting with move in costs. All resources and services provided are tailored to the unique needs of each houshold.
Homeless prevention
Empowerment Skills Trainings
The purpose of the Homeless Prevention Program (HPP) is to assist individuals and families facing a housing crisis. Funding is available through grants to keep those facing eviction, safely housed.

We are able to provide move in assistance to our guests who qualify. Each guest receives a welcome home basket filled with household items as well as toiletries.
