About His Hope Ministries Shelter
His Hope Ministries Shelter is located in Denton, MD. We offer a warm welcome to guests from September through April. His Hope Ministries shelter has 5 family rooms, 6 comfortable beds for single females, and 6 inviting beds for single males. The shelter is open from 4:30 PM to 8:30 AM. We ensure that our guests have a safe and supportive environment throughout their stay, by providing nutritious food, hygiene items, and clothing if necessary.
In addition to shelter, His Hope Ministries provides transportation within the town to connect guests with our Resource Center during the day, and they can access essential services such as the internet, employment and housing resources, and our skills training programs. We believe in empowering our guests with the tools they need to overcome challenges and build a brighter future.
At our shelter, we are dedicated to fostering a compassionate, inclusive atmosphere where individuals and families can find comfort, support, and opportunities for personal growth.

Our dedicated case managers provide resources, referrals, and emotional support to empower individuals and families towards long-term housing stability. They work closely with guests, addressing their unique needs and connecting them to the necessary resources and services.

Rapid Rehousing (RRH)
Rapid Re-Housing is a solution to homelessness designed to help individuals and families to quickly exit homelessness and retun to permanent housing by assisting with move in costs. All resources and services provided are tailored to the unique needs of each houshold.
Homeless prevention
Empowerment Skills Trainings
The purpose of the Homeless Prevention Program (HPP) is to assist individuals and families facing a housing crisis. Funding is available through grants to keep those facing eviction, safely housed.

We are able to provide move in assistance to our guests who qualify. Each guest receives a welcome home basket filled with household items as well as toiletries.

We have a landlord survey that we would like to have our community landlords complete about how we can better serve one another. Information will be submitted to the Midshore Roundtable on Homelessness.
