FAQs

How do I become a volunteer?

  • Complete a volunteering partner application in person, email , info@hishopeministries.org, or complete an application online.
  • We reserve the right to require a background check for volunteering partners, especially those wishing to volunteer with children or who will be largely unsupervised while volunteering.
  • Individuals who become a volunteer partner will receive a thorough orientation for His Hope Ministries and the training necessary to complete their assigned tasks.

Can my child receive Service Learning Hours for time volunteering at His Hope Ministries?

  • Yes, be sure they fill out a volunteer application and bring their Service Learning Form.

Do you accept group volunteers?

  • We welcome any community groups, school clubs, families, churches, etc. to volunteer together.

What training is required?

Each volunteer must attend a volunteer orientation and a Safeguarding God's Children training. Please visit the Volunteer Opportunities page for more information.
